Timpanogos Legal Center is able to serve the following two groups through our legal advice clinics and document clinic. If you do not meet our eligibility requirements, you will be unable to participate in these programs. If you have questions about eligibility, please contact us.
Timpanogos Legal Center offers a free clinic every week for people dealing with divorces, custody battles, or other family law related issues. Clients have the opportunity to speak with an attorney about their case. The attorney will offer legal advice and provide information regarding the next steps in your situation but will not provide full representation, meaning that they will not represent you in court or throughout your case.
These clinics are held every Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00pm (Utah time) unless it falls on a holiday.
The concept behind the clinic is to provide a “one stop show” where clients can access services from several agencies, such as Community Action, the Division of Child and Family Services, Victim Advocates, Department of Workforce Services, housing, and more.
No appointment is necessary to attend in person. Clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. There are immigration law attorneys available the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Address: Utah County Health and Justice Building, 151 South University Avenue, Provo, Utah 84601
We offer virtual clinic appointments. You can meet with an attorney on Zoom or over the phone. Please sign up here or or email TLCinfo@timplegal.org to schedule an appointment.
We hold periodic in-person clinics throughout the state. At these clinics, clients can come receive free legal advice on family law and protective orders. At most clinics, clients can also be connected to a victim advocate. We also hold clinics at shelters that have protected addresses for safety; if you are at a shelter but do not see it listed as a clinic location, speak to shelter employees to see if we have a clinic schedule at that location.
